Our mindfulness sessions are free to anyone, experienced or not, and are secular (non-religious). They are all drop-ins and do not require registering ahead of time. They are led by a rotating group of experienced meditators, several of whom are teachers of mindfulness meditation, all of whom are volunteering their time. The Calendar page will tell you who’s leading which sessions; note that changes in leaders may occur. Beginners and experienced meditators are welcome.
The format for each gathering varies. The one-hour session (Tues night) includes two 20-minute guided mindfulness meditations and opportunities for teachings, discussion, and questions. Some sessions incorporate short readings, quotes, or talks by the leader. The 30 and 40 minute sessions include a 20-25 minute guided meditation, followed by opportunities to check-in, ask questions, or hear a relevant poem or quote.
No registration is required. Just come via Zoom or in-person on Tuesday evenings. Contact us for the zoom link: openmindfulnessmeditation@gmail.com, and then drop into the session of your choice.
Join us in practicing being present and aware with
compassion and kindness in this vast present moment.
